the local area is amazing, as we’re a hop skip & jump from the vibrant leith shore district. there are coffee shops & pubs, restaurants & bistros, hotels & air b&bs. more than you can shake a stick at, really.

exploration of the wider city of edinburgh is well worth the effort too: a historic capital city with conflict at it’s heart. from the ancient castle that looms over the centre, there are palaces, gardens, ancient monuments, nooks, crannys, alleys & wynds. there are ghost stories, and traders tales, merchants & grave robbers. all in all a storied city with a history of lavish success & murderous triumph. plenty to keep you busy of an afternoon, evening, or on days off for a good long time.
